Accessibility Statement for Touch of Life Technologies, Inc. Products
Touch of Life Technologies, Inc. (Toltech) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) (https://www.w3.org/WAI/standards-guidelines/wcag/) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. VH Dissector Pro, VH Dissector Table, and VH Dissector Touch are partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that most of the product conforms to the accessibility standard, but some parts do not. Known limitations and our plans to address them are documented in our Accessibility Conformance Report.
Revised Section 508 standards published January 18, 2017 and corrected January 22, 2018 (Revised Section 508) (https://www.access-board.gov/ict/) contain scoping and technical requirements for information and communication technology (ICT) to ensure accessibility and usability by individuals with disabilities. VH Dissector Pro, VH Dissector Table, and VH Dissector Touch are partially conformant with Revised Section 508. Partially conformant means that most of the product conforms to the standard, but some parts do not. Known limitations and our plans to address them are documented in our Accessibility Conformance Report.
VH Dissector XR
VH Dissector XR is not included in these conformance claims. Immersive virtual reality interfaces cannot meet a number of accessibility requirements, and we do not represent VH Dissector XR as a conforming interface. XR offers an additional way to experience content that is also available through VH Dissector Pro, which is a conforming interface. We recommend institutions not deploy VH Dissector XR as the sole means of access to this content.
